Well informed leaders know how to data drive ESG business transformation

Moving business to a strong and sustainable European economy

Mission Guide guides family businesses across Europe to ESG maturity. Stay tuned

What should we think about an obligation like CSRD? At Mission Guide, we are starting to see CSRD as a blessing in disguise. CSRD organises a €10 billion yearly compliance market in Europe. Up to 200,000 EU companies will start to report in the next three years. This offers a great opportunity to make Europe strong and sustainable.

Traditionally, Europe has always had a very strong and dominant economy. Globalisation initially made Europe's position stronger, but the whole world followed in its slipstream. With the depletion of natural resources and the offshoring of production sites, Europe has become increasingly dependent. At the same time, climate change urges the economy to transition to a post-fossil economy.

Now, what can Europe do? How can we become less dependent on raw materials from outside the Union? How can we transition to sustainable energy sources? How can we make the economy work for the people of Europe?

Although compliance does not seem to be the answer to all these questions, CSRD could ignite exactly the movement Europe needs. What if the yearly €10 billion is invested in ESG strategy and transformation?

From CSRD compliance to ESG strategy and transformation

CSRD is based on the ESRS compliance framework, which builds upon ESG. We reworked the ESG framework into a business strategy framework with a focus on the circular economy and human capacity development. With ESG as a strategy it is possible to generate new value based on the CSRD compliance data.

We believe that informed leaders understand that business in general has to move to a strong and sustainable European economy. CSRD compliance data is the source to drive ESG business transformation. Mission Guide supports companies with CSRD compliance and reporting, that are also willing to take the next step towards ESG strategy and transformation.

We start by investigating whether the data landscape enables data-driven management of ESG.
